Key features
- Gryo. Very rare for a yacht of this price and size to have an OEM Mitsubishi Gyro. Gryo makes a huge difference in HK where choppy waters are common. It stabilizes the boat quickly and makes yachting much more enjoyable.
- Perfect size. At almost 47ft, the yacht is a nice size for families and to entertain guests. It can accommodate 23 people as per the operating license. Also. since it is less than 50ft, you can also drive it yourself with just a PVOL2 license.
- No usage restrictions. With just a 25% share ownership of the yacht (the other 2 partners are two courteous individuals who rarely use the boat, ie. once every few months), maintenance costs can be reduced to a minimal while the yacht can be enjoyed anytime with no usage restrictions despite owning only 25% of the boat (ie. can use the boat as much as every week or once every 2 months etc. not pro-rata usage based on shareholder ownership).
- Extremely low maintenance costs. Most importantly, maintenance costs is perfectly manageable for a yacht of this size. Over the past 5 years of ownership, it only equals on average 10K HKD per month (25% share ownership portion) which already includes the cost of the boat’s private mooring at the Aberdeen Boat Club (no additional membership fee required as boat can be accessed through public piers also).
- Attention to detail. The yacht is looked after by a dedicated captain who is on retainer and can drive the boat at a day’s notice (captain’s fee is only $2000 for a day use). He has been looking after the boat for almost 5 years and knows it inside out.

The yacht has 4 entertainment areas:
1) Main cabin (entirely air-conditioned with an automatic climate control system)
- Living/dining area (4 separate sofas can comfortably fit a large crowd. Large extendable dining table. LCD TV with sound system)
- 1 master cabin (1 queen bed, 2 closets, 1 TV and direct access to 1 enclosed head with bidet, toilet and separate shower)
- 1 VIP cabin (2 separate single beds, closet and direct access to another head with toilet and separate shower)
- 1 guest cabin (1 bunk bed: currently used to store all water toys)
- 1 galley (sink, stove, microwave, fridge and plenty of cupboards for storage)
- Lower helm also located in the main cabin for rainy days
2) Aft deck
- Tender with Mercury engine also located in aft deck
- Covered area with large extendable wooden table, sofas and chairs. Note that the main cabin can be opened to connect entirely with the aft deck to have 1 large entertainment area
- Separate sound system
- Swim platform with seperate shower and swim ladder
- Crew cabin with head accessed through aft deck and seperate from main cabin area
- Engine room accessed through aft deck
3) Bow
- 1 large cushion pad and pillows for sunbathing. Can fit multiple people
- Fully electric anchor can be controlled at bow or at the helm
4) Flybridge
- Blue bimini soft-top that opens up (ie. convertible)
- Large area with table, sofas and cushions. Also has a sink
- Upper helm (captain usually drives the boat in the upper helm, separate from guests) with instrument panel that can be electrically folded in rough weather conditions.

Further Logistics
- Boat has always been in local waters only.
- Purchased with the two other partners (one owns 25% and the other owns 50%) through local boat brokerage 5 years ago. Selling due to leaving HK.
- Partners are courteous and accomodative. One partner calculates costs (with backing receipts) every month and usuage sign-up for all partners done through google cloud spreadsheet (no restrictions on number of use at all).
